The Software Development Engineer’s role is to define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain new software applications in support of the achievement of business requirements. This includes writing, coding, testing, and analyzing software programs and applications. The Software Developer will also research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production life cycle (including updates to company websites and catalogs).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
Collaborate in conceptualizing and development of new software programs and applications.
Assist in the definition, development, and documentation of software’s business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications on a project-by-project basis in collaboration with internal users and departments.
Assist in defining software development project plans, including scoping, scheduling, and implementation.
Conduct research on emerging application development software products, languages, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts.
Recommend software improvements and upgrades.
Consistently write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to specifications.
Design, run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
Assist in the development and maintenance of user manuals and guidelines.
Update company websites and catalogs to reflect company message and available offerings.
Working on web projects, graphic design projects
Reviewing business requirements, to design, construct and test design projects
Other requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Software Development or similar.
10+ Years of experience.
Must be able to multi-task, supporting and driving multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work in an, at times mentally challenging, environment to meet project deadlines.
Must be able to interact openly in a group setting in order to solve problems.
Good communication skills required.
Must be well-organized.

Distributor Sales Representative sells aluminum framing systems and products to manufacturing companies in industries such as robotics, automation, aerospace, production, etc.. The Distributor Sales Representative will focus on nationwide distribution to provide our clients with a high level of service on quotes, orders, and product advice.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from referrals, newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Web sites, and other sources.
Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, and/or talks with customers on site or by phone.
Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes salable features.
Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm’s production and delivery schedules.
Prepares reports of business transactions, keeps expense accounts and mileage logs.
Works with inside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date.
Tracks stock levels to insure availability to handle orders.
Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.
Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing personnel.
Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries and other issues as they might arise.
Attends trade shows as requested.

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to apply concepts such as measurements, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Design Engineer will design and fabricate high quality aluminum framing components. Integrate the physical design requirements (structural) and fabrication aspects of all hardware development to produce designs that meet all applicable requirements for the form, fit and function The Design Engineer will proactively work with the other engineering staff to prepare electronic sketches, drawings and other technical documents within the governing quality assurance program and procedures. The engineer will successfully coordinate with fabrication staff to ensure production requirements are successfully met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
Assist engineering staff in the design and development of systems and components. Interface with engineering staff effectively to ensure the form, fit and function of designs while working with fabrication staff to ensure cost effectiveness and manufacturability of designs.
Collaborate with the engineering staff to produce design sketches and drawings in accordance with applicable standards. Accurately incorporate tolerances into design drawings.
Originate and/or review structural analyses, prototype test processes, operations procedures and reports.
Review and verify design drawings and other technical documentation prepared by others to ensure correctness and accuracy in form, fit and function.
Creates and manages new custom design features to satisfy customer order requirements and meet production needs
Applies established engineering standards to meet all applicable regulations.
Interacts with outside vendors and internal purchasing agents to ensure that purchased materials meet customer specifications and “fit and finish” expectations
Identifies, documents and implements internal department quality and process improvements
Prepare project releases.
Interact daily with fabrication personnel and customers to interpret evolving customer needs and projects requirements.
Other requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
10+ Years of experience as design engineer/manufacturing.
